These men and women, who think it to be fantastic
Setting out across the Atlantic
Some single, some pairs and others fours
But all of them powered only by oars
Among this bunch is team Wadadli
Doc Fuller, Peter, Archie and JD
In their boat named Wa’ Omoni
Will be the first Antiguans to make this Journey
Off they’ll set from La Gomera
Amidst much fanfare and laughter
Rowing through the Atlantic’s choppy water
Rowing to the Dockyard at English Harbour
Will they bathe? I do not know, but one thing is for certain
If they do not ease themselves, then it will be curtains
I can bet it won’t be easy
Some stomachs might get queasy
But don’t be disheartened and begin to brood
When eating the pre-packaged survival food
And when drinking the desalinated water
Here’s just one thing you must remember
Just row, keep in mind the purpose
St. John Hospice is your primary focus
This row is to raise the awareness
Of the institution’s self-sacrificing kindness
So eat, sleep, row, repeat, and pay no attention
To the sea monsters the old mariners mention
Not Lusca or her cousin Kraken
Or some sea serpent or harpy maiden
Just Eat, sleep, row, and repeat
Until you’ve completed this monumental feat
