It’s a big relief to have our website finally up and running, many thanks to John Wuilliez for this wonderful effort and his patience with my lack of computer skills.
Before long we should have many more photos, updates and our daily experiences to share with you all; the crew has been chosen and the bios will be posted shortly. Training has also started and even though it’s in an infancy stage, the hand callouses and sore butts are slowly becoming a reality; we’ll have to figure this one out and work around it.
If all goes well our boat, the Rannoch R 45, should be here late February / early March for us to get comfortable with it. Plenty apprehension!
Even though the website has been up for just a few days, we’re starting to get good feedback and even a few sizable donations including $ 5000 EC, a new Sat phone and boat insurance for a year for which we are most grateful. We are looking forward to sharing our adventure with you all so please keep posted.
